The Kentucky Transportation Center (KTC), headquartered in the University of Kentucky College of Engineering, provides research and technology transfer services to the Commonwealth, typically in the areas of construction, geotechnical engineering, pavements and materials, traffic safety, intelligent transportation systems, structures, policy, and systems analysis and finance.
KTC also offers education programs for graduate students and professionals, including professional development events throughout the state. It collaborates with the UK Department of Civil Engineering, and also works with other centers, colleges and departments at UK.
